 Hi my dear Lorelei

Papa and I went to your house the last week of August and you were so cute.  You were always cuddling Papa and sitting on his lap, guess his lap is more cuddly than mine.  But you were a lot more talkative to us while we were there.  

You are such a good swimmer, I just cant believe how much you love the water.  I am so happy that you all swim so good. 

Hayden made me a card and your mommy gave it to me and I opened it and you were there watching and you wanted to know where your card was that you made for me and your mommy said you didn't make a card....so, you said (after some thought) "well, I helped Hayden make his"  haha.  you didn't want to have not made me a card. so cute

My dear Lorelei
You just spent a week with us.  Your parents were here for four nights at the lake house and then you, Hayden and Chase spent three nights with us in McKean.  You were very good.  And for this being the first time being away from your mommy and daddy, you were awesome.  You are only 4, so I didn't know how you would be.  But the one day you said to me "at some point we have to go home right?" and I asked if you were ready and you said "no, not yet"!  That made Grami pretty happy that you were ready to spend some time here.
One day before you were here Caden, Kiera and I were face timing you guys and Kiera says to you "Lorelei, I am excited to see you"  and Chase says "She is excited to see you too, she doesn't talk much"   too funny.  That cracked us all up.  Sometimes you are very quiet, but you were much better after you spent some time here.

My dear little Lorelei,
I love you!  We are in the middle of the 2020 pandemic and I haven't seen you for awhile now and I sure miss all of you so much.  You havent been to day care for 6 weeks and have 6 more to go until summer.  Not sure when things will start to open up. 
The other day you took the phone from Chase and started to talk to me and carried me all over the house and were chattering about everything.  You are usually pretty quiet around me, so I was very thrilled you were talking to me about everything. 
I love you honey and I can't wait for this to be over so I will be able to come and see you
